Our Doctor

Dr. Simescu is originally from Romania, where she first graduated from dental school, practiced for a few years and taught in the prosthodontics department at her alma mater in the beautiful city of Cluj Napoca.

Proof that she really loves dentistry, she went back to dental school upon moving to the US and received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

Dr. Simescu is proud to call Boerne her home now and considers herself privileged to be serving the dental health care needs of her community. She sees dentistry as a blend of art, science and a sincere desire to help people.

Committed to providing quality dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment, Dr. Simescu continually updates and refines her skills through numerous continuing education courses every year.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and San Antonio District Dental Society.

When she’s away from the office, Dr. Simescu likes to have fun with her daughter and husband and enjoys spending time with friends, books and music.

Mary has lived in Boerne all her life. Her journey after Boerne High School led her to Southwest Texas State University, then Bee County College in Beeville, TX, where she received her registered dental hygienist degree.

After 40 years of practice she still considers it a privilege to provide tender loving care to all our patients. She enjoys getting to know them and their oral hygiene needs, so they always look forward to their next visit. Mary has always been very passionate about educating and helping our patients understand the importance of their oral health and their role in maintaining it.

When she’s not working, Mary loves being outdoors, gardening, cooking and having fun with family and friends. She and her husband, Richard, especially enjoy spoiling their grandchildren.

Brenda has been with our practice since 1992. What started as a part time job soon turned into a full time position, and she became a registered dental assistant. Brenda enjoys meeting our new patients and greeting each patient as they arrive for their appointments. She is usually the first smiling face you see when you walk in and will answer any questions you might have about your appointment, insurance and our financial policies.

Brenda is married, has four grown children and is blessed with nine grandchildren. Boerne was a great place to raise her family and she currently lives in New Braunfels. She likes outdoor activities, jogging, hiking and gardening.

Cassie is a Boerne resident and a Boerne High School alumna. She has been with our practice for 20 years and thoroughly enjoys providing quality, compassionate care to our patients of all ages.

Outside the office, Cassie likes to spend time with friends, hunting, fishing and making memories with her husband, Mark, and her daughter, Lexi.
